About us
In 2019 Kombucha Inc.’s first brew was a collaboration between friends at home. The laidback and playful nature of this kombucha came from the desire to make a non-alcoholic beverage that could resemble anything from a refreshing soft drink to complex taste like natural wine.
Kombucha Inc. was encouraged to continue brewing after it was gifted to a co-creational camp bar at Scandinavia’s version of Burning Man. Subsequently, Kombucha Inc. whole heartedly, yet quasi legally, continued brewing for various dinners, Burns, yoga retreats, sauna treats, and night life events. With this path came the realization of the desire for a flavorful, non/low alcoholic beverage.
Kombucha Inc. began stretching the limits of kombucha brewing by infusing various elements such as chili and Cava, and packaging our product in a manner reminiscent of craft beers and progressive wine makers. We’re passionate about producing a beverage that is both familiar and unexpected.
Our unfiltered and unpasteurized brewing approach ensures that we keep the probiotics and the other good stuff from the fermentation. Yet we endeavor to brew a kombucha that you enjoy with loved ones at home, bars and restaurants for its innately singular flavor, not for its potential health benefits. We are striving to brew a low alcoholic drink that has rightful place next to natural wine or low alcohol craft beer.
In mid 2023 we opened a micro-brewery in the Meat Packing District in the heart of Copenhagen, where the vibrating life and the daily encounters with unique humans from all levels of society´s ambiguous ladder inspires our kombucha recipes.
